For the past decade, Kansans and Missourians alike had to sit and watch while economic development departments in both states spent millions to pull businesses a few miles across the border, only to create an illusion of success with practically no economic gain.
And Laura and Governor Parson agree: it's time to move both of our states forward.
This agreement will end the costly approach of luring jobs across the border for no economic gain and put the focus back on working together for the good of the people in both of these great states.
