President Trump used his State of the Union address to highlight the dangers of gender ideology, which promotes the false notion that gender is a meaningless social construct rather than a biological fact. One of the victims President Trump honored was Payton McNabb, a former high school girls' volleyball player who was severely injured when a transgender (a male) opponent spiked a ball in her face, causing brain injury.
