Dear John,
Naya hated fourth grade until she met Coach JT. Because of JT's support, everything changed for Naya. She learned lessons on the playground that transfer to the classroom and to life. “Never give up and do your best,” she explains. As a Junior Coach, she practices valuable skills, such as communication, problem solving, and teamwork as she plays and leads her peers at recess.
Play lays the groundwork for learning and growth both in and out of the classroom. In a 2023-24 Playworks survey, 94% of educators agree that Playworks helps students develop the skills to succeed in their learning environment.
