CACC continues to facilitate public adoptions as a volunteer-only program without any budgeted staff position. We are staffing a PAWS adoption team member on site at CACC full time to help grow their adoption program, and we’re also bringing our PAWS volunteer adoption counselors to CACC to help more pets go home.
For Melody, this additional support changed everything. The very same day she was surrendered to CACC, a PAWS-trained adoption counselor matched her with a family looking for a kid-friendly kitty.
