Dozens of key conditions and factors have aligned perfectly in Florida’s 6th to create the perfect storm for Democrats in the upcoming April 1 Special Election.

We caught our opponent by surprise, outraising them 10-1 in a district they thought Dems would never contest. And we began knocking doors and building a field program back in January whereas our opponent began building his last week.

Atmospheric factors have also played a role. A re-energized democratic base eager to redeem itself after 2024, and growing disillusionment with Trump’s second term, have driven turnout for us across the board.

But one factor above all else has proven to be most devastating, potentially even fatal, for Republicans and GOP voter turnout. The GOP’s deeply unpopular, vulgar, and reviled, nominee: Randy Fine.

In the past two days - Ron DeSantis, Steve Bannon, and the Chair of the NRCC, have all publicly gone out to say that their awful performance in this election is a direct result of Randy Fine’s candidacy. As Desantis put it yesterday, “we have a candidate problem.”

Social media (even TruthSocial) is flooded with reports of Republicans who say they aren’t voting for Randy and are casting their votes for third party candidates, write-ins, with some even stating they’ll be voting for Josh.

Fine is a casino mogul who resides hundreds of miles away from the district - a fact often brought up by frustrated GOP voters.

He is a repulsive human being who habitually tweets #bombsaway on articles discussing the mounting death toll in Gaza, is outspoken about his hatred towards muslims and LGBTQ people, and is so far-right that he makes MTG and Boebert look moderate.

Republicans will not make a mistake like Randy Fine twice. April 1st is our one shot at this.
