Email from Milstein Family Foundation Progressive movements in the United States have formed a dangerous alliance with radical Muslim groups, using victimhood to create an anti-American coalition March 2025 NEWSLETTER Who We Are Our Mission Pro-American rioters burning an American flag and trying to destroy the Andrew Jackson Statue in Lafayette Park across from the White House on June 8, 2024. The radical Left’s alliance with Islamic extremists has long been a growing concern for Americans. Although on the surface it seems that this coalition is targeting Israel and the Jewish people, it has actually developed into a broader and more imminent threat, endangering not only Jews but also American democracy itself. This is evident across elite American college campuses, where violent disruptions, intimidation, and open hostility undermine our education system’s integrity and purpose. In just the past two weeks, a Yale professor was suspended for ties to a known terrorist group while bomb threats targeted Columbia’s Barnard College. This rising extremism is a direct challenge to American society and the foundational values of Western democracy. In our recent article, "How American College Campuses Became the Islamo-Leftists’ Playground", we explore how the Islamo-Leftist alliance has weaponized victimhood narratives to spread anti-American sentiment, using academia as a platform for indoctrination. The article also exposes the role of foreign adversaries in fueling student radicalization, orchestrating campus protests, and undermining free speech. Additionally, we highlight how activists with direct ties to terrorist organizations are actively working to destabilize the United States from within. We call for urgent action to combat this growing national security threat to America. This idea builds upon a similar call to action we made in our 2019 article, "Antisemitism is Anti-American: Now is the Time to Go on the Offense Against Hate!" There, we explored the deep-rooted history of antisemitism and its modern-day manifestations across the radical Right, radical Left, and Islamist extremists. While Jews remain a primary target, these dangerous movements ultimately threaten the very foundations of Western society, including democracy, free speech, and religious freedom. If you're interested in partnering with us to fight antisemitism, support the State of Israel, and protect American democracy, we would love to hear from you. Lastly, we invite you to learn more about the Israel on Campus Coalition (ICC), a non-profit organization that inspires American college students to see Israel as a source of pride and empowers them to stand up for Israel on campus. The events of October 7 served as a wake-up call. Jewish students faced hostility on their own campuses, blocked from classrooms by aggressive protests. Since we co-founded the Israeli-American Council (IAC) 18 years ago, the IAC has been at the forefront of combating antisemitism, and safeguarding our children. As the largest organization serving the Israeli-American community, the IAC provides programs for all ages and leads the fight for Jewish identity and security. The World Zionist Congress (WZC) elections are underway, determining how billions of dollars will be allocated—to combat antisemitism, strengthen Jewish education, and support our community. Let’s ensure our voices are heard—don’t let others outside the U.S. decide for us! Vote IAC Slate #22 For our children’s future. Vote Here How American college campuses became the Islamo-leftists' playground This article was originally published in The Jerusalem Post on March 23, 2025. "A dangerous alliance has formed between the progressive movement in the United States and radical Muslim groups, using the guise of victimhood to create an anti-American coalition. Though antisemitic and anti-Israel at its core, the ultimate goal of this Red-Green coalition is far broader: the systematic destruction of America from within. To accomplish its goal the movement has exploited American institutions, using democracy itself as a tool to undermine the very values that have made the United States the world’s most successful democracy." "Antisemites, whether on the far right, on the far left, or among the radical Islamists, hate Jews for different reasons. However, and most importantly, their hatred is a threat to the core values of American society: democracy, free speech, and freedom of religion. We cannot sit idly by in the face of this imminent threat. It’s not only about the well-being of the Jewish people but about the values at the heart of Western society."
