Tesla Takedown
This Saturday, 3/29

  • 10am at University Village (2627 NE 46th Ave)
  • 4:15pm at South Lake Union (435 Westlake Ave N)

Trump, Musk and the Republican Party are waging a remorseless war on working people, the oppressed, and the environment. They are ravaging social services, attacking public sector workers, and threatening millions of immigrants with deportation. They are coming for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, are meting out savage cuts to education and housing, and have our First Amendment right of free speech in their crosshairs.

This was brutally on display with students who support pro-Palestinian liberation being threatened with deportation for exercising their democratic rights and the Attorney General of the US claiming that everyday working people protesting the heinous attacks on our rights are domestic terrorists.

Unfortunately, we cannot rely on the Democratic Party to effectively fight the Right. They have proven time and again their utter fecklessness and impotence in the face of draconian attacks on working people.  The only way to stop the Trump/Musk juggernaut from steamrolling over the working class is through mass struggle and mass movements. It’s clear no one is going to save us but us. Our strength lies in our numbers, our determination to fight, our solidarity in common struggle, and the power of working people to disrupt “business as usual.”

Phonebank for IAM/Delta Campaign

This Thurs, 3/27, 3PM

Did you enjoy phonebanking or canvassing this recent special election and want to keep the organizing energy going? Do you want to be part of one of the largest union drives in the country?

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has reached out to DSA chapters nationwide to assist with the groundwork for their organizing drive at Delta Airlines.

This is a collaboration between IAM members at other airlines, Delta employees who want the union, IAM organizers, and DSA members including Seattle DSA’s own Labor Working Group. Our role is to help workers and union organizers reach members outside the workplace, because the airport is such a heavily surveilled environment.

We will be phonebanking Delta workers whose union cards have expired. We are trying to get them to re-sign their cards as every card counts in a union certification!

RSVP on Action Network to get the Zoom link and to keep up to date on the campaign!
