out. The Trump administration is targeting him for standing up for
justice. This is terrifying. If they can disappear a legal permanent
resident, married to a U.S. citizen, what’s stopping them from coming for
anyone who dares to dissent? We can’t afford to wait and find out.

Mahmoud Khalil spoke out for justice – and now he’s being illegally
detained by the Trump administration. Trump himself has said, "this is the
first arrest of many to come." His administration is following the
authoritarian playbook step by step: silence them, imprison them, make
them disappear.
This moment is bigger than Mahmoud — this is about all of us. Trump is
escalating his war on free speech, criminalizing dissent, and attacking
our fundamental rights.

Any contributor may designate their contribution for a particular participant. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
