Hey everybody, it’s Mark. Take a look at this picture:

That’s me, about 30 years ago. I flew 39 missions in Desert Storm. In one of them, I was nearly shot down by two different surface-to-air missiles. I don’t even want to consider what might’ve happened if the Iraqis had two hours notice before I took off from the USS Midway that day.

I’m telling you this because the Atlantic published the rest of the group chat. And those messages confirmed Hegseth did — without any doubt — send timetables and mission details that would be highly classified. He sent them two hours in advance. If the details of that chat were published or if an adversary had access to them, it would have put pilots at risk.

The Signal incident is what happens when you have the most unqualified Secretary of Defense we've ever seen.

We're lucky it didn't cost any servicemembers their lives, but for the safety of our military and our country, Secretary Hegseth needs to resign.
