Dear Neighbor,

I have heard from many of you about the consequences of cuts that Elon Musk’s DOGE policies are imposing on Social Security.

Since January, thousands of Social Security employees have been laid off, the Social Security website has broken down repeatedly and wait times for phone calls to Social Security have skyrocketed.

Taken together, these actions are breaking Social Security and making it nearly impossible for seniors and people with disabilities to get help with their benefits.

I know that Social Security is an earned benefit that Americans count on to retire with dignity. I strongly oppose these DOGE cuts and any other conservative policies that will cut benefits and make life harder for seniors.
