Your pressure led to another big tax cut promise.

Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre said he would increase the tax-free portion of seniors’ incomes.

Poilievre is promising to let working seniors keep an extra $10,000 tax-free. The Conservatives say this will save a working senior up to $1,300 a year.

The Conservatives also promise to change RRSP rules to let seniors’ investments grow longer.

Because Canadian Taxpayers Federation supporters like you have been keeping up the pressure for years, all major parties know they must cut taxes to get elected.

The Liberal Party is promising income tax cuts that would save a two-income family up to $825 a year.

The Conservative Party is also promising income tax cuts that would save a two-income family up to $1,800 a year.
