Colorado Democrats at the state and federal level have stood up to this, standing arm-in-arm against the disastrous GOP budget that would give tax cuts to billionaires paid for by cutting Medicaid.
John Hickenlooper and Michael Bennet held the floor for 30 hours protesting the nomination of the Project 2025 architect to Trump’s cabinet.
Brittany Pettersen is fighting for working moms to be able to serve in government and is standing up to Speaker Johnson’s anti-worker agenda.
Jason Crow is leading House recruitment efforts, making sure we recruit great candidates who bring a no-bullshit approach to the fight on our hands.
Diana DeGette and Joe Neguse serve in House leadership, pushing an agenda that prioritizes workers, not billionaires.
And, right here at CDP, we have:
* Hosted press conferences and supported county parties, holding rallies, protests, honking and waves, and organizing sessions


* Reorganized our entire Party from the ground up, electing a new slate of powerhouse volunteers to Party leadership positions


* A bold mission of putting a precinct organizer in every precinct in the state to build our grassroots army


* Held GOP lackeys Gabe Evans, Jeff Hurd, Lauren Boebert, and Jeff Crank accountable for trying to slash Medicaid, give away our public lands, and rig our economy for billionaires
With a Republican Congress that continues to surrender its power to Trump, Democrats must take back control of at least one chamber of Congress in the next election and notch big wins at the state and local levels.
That’s exactly the fight we are preparing for here in Colorado and the fight we are leading.
