In the past week and a half, our world has changed drastically. The cold-blooded murder of George Floyd by the MPD brought the world into the streets demanding justice for the victims of policing and an end to police violence and oppression.
We know the fight for Black lives is for more than abolishing the police. We have seen the Twin Cities community rapidly organize for food distribution, community defense and fire protection, and demand that MPD must go, and we want to push and empower that momentum.
At this meeting, we will talk about next steps for a strategic socialist response. The political class is weakened and is pulling out all the stops to diffuse the anger of the masses. We want you in the fight.
