Last week Californians showed the power of our people. Across the state, Californians rallied, marched and spoke out—to protect the rights and resources that millions of us rely on. From freedom of speech to healthcare, Trump and the billionaires are robbing our most sacred resources.

Californians from San Diego to San Jose united to send a message that billionaires shouldn’t be running our country and making decisions that have life or death consequences for our families and communities.

The proposed cuts to Medicaid aren’t just numbers on a page. They are REAL lives, real people. A father in San Diego whose daughter depends on life-saving medication, healthcare workers concerned about their patients, a mother and her blind daughter who would lose in-home support were just a few of the stories of people whose lives would be devastated if Congress cuts Medicaid.
