It seemed laughable when Trump first said he wanted to take over Greenland. But he has now dramatically ratcheted up the threats to do it “one way or another,” and it could get us into a war with our own NATO allies. Add your name, and tell Trump to back off Greenland. Trump is now sending a group of his lackeys, including his national security adviser and second lady Usha Vance to Greenland (uninvited) to push the issue. Greenlanders are outraged by the move, one that Greenland’s Prime Minister called “highly aggressive.” Greenland has made it clear that it does not want to become essentially an American colony. And since Greenland is a part of Denmark, taking it militarily would be an attack on a NATO territory—putting us at war with all NATO members.
