His plan would more than triple the size of the detention system — tearing more families apart, funneling billions of dollars into private prisons, and using military bases like Guantánamo Bay to detain people.
This isn’t just an attack on immigrants. Trump and his allies have made it clear: They will use mass detention and deportation to target Black, brown, queer, and trans people — and U.S. citizens aren’t immune. This is cruelty on an unimaginable scale, and it’s all being paid for with our tax dollars.
