John,

We’re bumping Ami’s message back to the top of your inbox — because this story isn’t going away, and neither is the danger.

A top Trump official accidentally texted classified U.S. war plans to a journalist. And the Republican-led House? They’ve done absolutely nothing.

Speaker Mike Johnson called it an “inadvertent” mistake. No subpoenas. No investigation. No accountability.

If Democrats held the majority, we’d already be holding hearings. That’s why Ami is fighting every day to flip the House and restore real oversight.

But right now, we’re up against a critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline — and we need your help to stay on track.

Can you chip in $15 or more today to help Democrats take back the House and hold this reckless administration accountable? [[link removed]]

John,

As a doctor, I was trained to take every mistake seriously — because lives depend on it. That’s why what I’m about to share with you should alarm every American, regardless of party.

Senior Trump Administration officials accidentally texted a journalist our war plans . The quote from the journalist says it all:
“I had very strong doubts that this text group was real, because I could not believe that the national-security leadership of the United States would communicate on Signal about imminent war plans.”
This wasn’t just a slip-up. It was a staggering breach of classified information — sent through an unsecured Signal group chat that included an individual who never should have had access.

This is the kind of recklessness that puts American servicemembers at risk.

And yet — the Republican-controlled House refuses to investigate. Speaker Mike Johnson called it an “inadvertent” mistake, then said the Trump administration would “handle it internally.” That’s it.

No subpoenas. No oversight. No accountability.

Let me be clear: if Democrats held the majority, we would already be investigating. We would demand answers. And we would take action to prevent this from ever happening again. But we need your help to make that possible.

Can you chip in $15 or more today to help Democrats flip the House and hold those responsible for this breach accountable? [[link removed]]

This is bigger than politics. It’s about basic competence and our national security.

Thank you for standing with me in this fight.

Be well,
