In the wake of the murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and so many other unarmed Black people -- there is nobody who needs our support in Congress more than Lucy McBath.

SUPPORT LUCY MCBATH
Lucy’s story is both tragic and remarkable. Her 17-year old son Jordan was tragically shot and killed by a racist white man who thought Jordan and his friends were playing their “thug music” too loud while parked at a gas station.
After Jordan’s killer was convicted of first-degree murder, Lucy retired from her career as a flight attendant to become a full-time gun safety advocate.
Lucy used the power of her story to fight against NRA-supported laws like “Stand Your Ground,” which her son’s killer used to try to justify this murder. Then the Parkland Shooting happened, and she felt called to do more.
Lucy decided to take her story and her fight to Congress — so she ran, and, against all odds, defeated Trump apologist Karen Handel by a few thousand votes.
Now Karen Handel is back — and Donald Trump is using all the tools at his disposal to tip the scales in Karen’s favor. Do you think you could chip in right now to support Lucy McBath in her fight for re-election? →
Lucy’s voice is essential to our fight to end gun violence. She can speak to gun violence, systemic racism, and tell her own story in a way that so many of us can not. Her powerful advocacy and leadership on gun violence prevention have already made waves in Congress.
But now, Republicans are trying to stop her progress. Lucy’s seat is rated as one of the ‘top ten at-risk” seats in this year’s election, and the NRA would love nothing more than to defeat one of its biggest enemies in Washington.
That is why I’m asking you, during this historic moment in our nation’s history, to stand up to the NRA and Donald Trump, and rush a grassroots contribution to Lucy McBath’s campaign. Can you chip in $5 or $25 right now?
