In 2019, the Texas Values helped lead an effort to pass SB 22 to ban cities and other political entities from directly using taxpayer money to fund abortions.
Undeterred by this, some cities such as the City of Austin exploited a loophole to give taxpayer money to organizations that provide travel, lodging, and logistical support to pregnant women seeking to abort their unborn children.
SB 33 by Sen. Donna Campbell solves this by blocking liberal cities from using YOUR tax dollars to fund abortion-related expenses!
