John,

Join Health Affairs on April 23 for an exclusive Insider virtual event exploring site-neutral payments.

This event is for Health Affairs Insiders only.

Join Us

Site-neutral payment policies have a goal to standardize payments across sites of health care services, regardless of where a patient seeks care, in an effort to reduce rising Medicare spending. Medicare spending reached $1 trillion in 2023, an increase over $705 billion in 2017.

Lawmakers are revisiting the concept of site-neutral payments in the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule.

Brady Post, a health economist and health services researcher at Northeastern University, joins Health Affairs’ Meg Winchester to get Insiders up to speed on site-neutral payments, what they are, how they’re used, and what to expect regarding future health care policies.

Brady and Meg will discuss the topic for 15 minutes before opening up a 15-minute Q&A session for attendees.
