The number one job of a member of Congress is to be the voice for their communities. They have a duty to thoughtfully consider legislation and vote in a way that benefits their district.

But that’s not how Don Young operates.

Don Young is already one of the most absent members of Congress in the country. His percentage of missed votes is about seven times higher than the average member. He even skipped a key vote on the coronavirus relief package to attend a fundraiser.

You’d think he’d love the opportunity to do his job remotely. But when Congress put in place measures for members to securely vote remotely, Don Young said he doesn’t believe in the rule change and refused and participate. He missed six out of six votes last week.

He can’t even bother to do his job from home?

It’s clear that Don Young is no longer interested in being our voice. Alyse is ready to hit the ground running and step up for the people of our state. But she needs you to step up first.

Please consider pitching in whatever you can to help us retire Don Young and send Alyse to Congress to fight for us. [link removed]

Thank you,

Team Alyse
