The House minority leader, Hakeem Jeffries ordered his Democrat House members to conduct town halls in their districts. Jim Himes is always nervous about exposing his record to his constituents, but with the Democrat civil war as a backdrop, Himes approached the task in a particularly cowardly fashion. First, he only alerted his list of Indivisible (rabid progressive) members. Then he followed with a bit wider list, then declared the hall was full (it wasn't). But in order to get in you had to register with EventBrite and get a ticket (first time he's pulled this stunt). Town Halls were scheduled in Norwalk and Fairfield this past Saturday.
Just a couple of us regular constituents did manage to get tickets to Norwalk. And The Connecticut Centinal was there to document and report on the event. Mr. Himes opened with a 15 minute review of the Washington dynamic since Jan. 20th. It was a master-clinic in Gaslighting. Virtually every issue he addressed was either a mis-characterization or a 180 degree inversion of reality. As the Indivisibles were invited first, the room seemed to be 95% on the Left.
However, many of the Indivisibles were not happy with him either. This is what happens when you hold no principles in public - only the will-to-power. The radical base on which Himes depends for energizing the Democrat cattle-call and ballot-harvesting every two years, was most demonstrably unhappy with his lack of action and failure to display sufficient heated-fervor in opposing Donald Trump and the Republican agenda. Result - he was attacked repeatedly from multiple angles from the LEFT for his foreign policy (ostensible support of Israel), unintelligible economics, and squishy cultural positions. His hypocrisy was showing with his every contorted utterance.
When questioning opened, I got a chance at the mike and began a litany of his lies and deceptions until I was "blocked out by a trifecta of a Himes staffer, a frustrated Himes supporter, and security -- the elements Himes always hides behind to get through Town Halls," to quote The Connecticut Centinal. Here's a link to a Rumble video of my indictment of his record right to his face:

Because of the Hearst Media blackout of his voting record, and it's cooperation with his subterfuge, it is up to his constituents to hold his man accountable for his actions. In addition, independent media is replacing legacy media in its historic role. Here's a link to a comprehensive review of Himes' Town Hall published by The Connecticut Centinal on Tuesday:

With the straight-up subversive voting records of Himes, Murphy and Blumenthal, the New England 'Blue Wall' CAN be broken. If we each take it upon ourselves to do something, it WILL be broken.
