Friend, in Ukraine’s Kherson region, 74-year-old Olha has endured two years of war and freezing winter temperatures — often without firewood to keep warm.

Olha lives alone in a small village in the frontline region of Kherson, Ukraine. She recalls how the full-scale invasion affected her, "It was very hard and scary. We hid in basements or ran for cover, but I never left. I’ve stayed here from the very beginning until now."
