Dear John,
The last few months have been very difficult for our nation. First it was the pandemic, and now unrest has rocked our nation with a torrent of lawlessness that began after a blatant display of police brutality in Minneapolis that took the life of George Floyd.
If ever there has been a time when Americans need unbiased news, it is now.
Unfortunately, it has been appalling to see where the priorities of the mainstream media lie: pushing leftist talking points.
In late March, as Americans tried to navigate new stay-at-home measures, the New York Times proudly avowed their anti-Christian bias by publishing an opinion article entitled, "The Road to Coronavirus Hell Was Paved by Evangelicals."
The paper altered the headline slightly after facing considerable backlash, but this hate-filled piece of editorial garbage is proof of why Americans no longer trust the media.
When national networks sought a fair, factual response to these attacks, they called FRC.
We have stood firm against the Left and its unrelenting agenda to erase our constitutional freedoms. As June 30 marks the end of our fiscal year, we're working to hit our $2.5 million budget goal for the month of June so FRC can continue advancing the cause of truth.
Several generous friends have put forward a $1 Million Challenge Match so that whatever you give before June 30 will have double the impact. Can you help us in this important time?

Fox News host Shannon Bream asked me to comment on what the NYT published.
"Every time Christians in this nation are influencing policy, [media] rants against them," I said to her. "While they're attacking Christians, it's Christians who are out there serving first responders. In fact, many first responders are Christians."
One thing I shared on Fox News isn't a fact heard often on national news: that without people of faith whom the Left loves to hate, America would barely have any hospitals. In New York City alone, two of the top three hospitals have religious roots.
FRC helped several ministries on the front lines, spreading the word about their work while bringing clarity when mainstream media was all too eager to broadcast half-truths.
Indeed, the urgency of the coronavirus crisis prompted our friend Rev. Franklin Graham to pull together medical volunteers through Samaritan's Purse and assemble a makeshift field hospital in New York City's Central Park.
In an interview about their partnership with Mount Sinai Hospital, which had pleaded for them to come, Franklin shared their vision on FRC's Washington Watch radio program.
"We're going to help people who are suffering, because that's what Jesus would want us to do," said Graham. "We're up and running, and we're going to treat as many people as we can in Jesus's name."
As political rhetoric heats up in the coming months, efforts from the Left will only intensify. This is not a time to shrink back, but to lead with clarity and boldness.
Your best gift today -- doubled the $1 Million Challenge Match -- will ensure FRC is fully resource for what's ahead.
Thank you in advance for standing with FRC.
