Dear A.,

The House is expected to vote Thursday on two anti-Israel amendments introduced by Rep. Rashida Tlaib last night.

Contact your House member now and urge them to VOTE NO on these amendments.

Congress is currently considering new legislation that would strengthen reporting requirements for foreign funding to American colleges and universities.

The bill also prohibits colleges and universities from entering contracts with four countries — Russia, China, Iran and North Korea.

Tlaib's amendments would put Israel into the same category as these U.S. adversaries, using the International Criminal Court's (ICC) and International Court of Justice's (ICJ) baseless and illegitimate cases against Israel as a pretext to do so.

If adopted, her amendments would require colleges and universities to disclose any investments in Israel, including Israeli stocks or bonds — a victory for the discriminatory boycott, divestment and sanction (BDS) campaign against the Jewish state.

Hamas terrorists emerged from the Indonesian Hospital to disperse the crowd, which threw rocks at them in response.

Videos from the scene show the crowd saying various slogans in Arabic, including "Down with Hamas, "Stop the war," and "Release the hostages!"

A senior Israeli official said: "It is very early to assess whether this is a local event or a phenomenon that will expand."

More demonstrations are reportedly planned for tomorrow. Watch a video of the protest below:

Hezbollah terrorist eliminated by IDF in Lebanon

The IDF

killed a senior Hezbollah terrorist, Hassan Kamal Halawi, in southern Lebanon last night.

Halawi commanded a Hezbollah anti-tank unit, was responsible for numerous attacks against Israel, and was involved in smuggling weapons and terrorists into southern Lebanon to fight against Israeli troops.

The strike follows a Hezbollah rocket attack on Israel over the weekend, when the IDF intercepted three rockets fired from Lebanon at the Israeli town of Metula.

The United States must continue to ensure Israel has the resources needed to defend its people and increase the pressure on Hezbollah and Lebanon to comply with the terms of the ceasefire.

IDF troops attacked in southern Syria

At least seven gunmen

attacked Israeli troops operating in southern Syria today, the IDF said.

The Israeli troops returned fire and an Israeli Air Force drone carried out an airstrike against the gunmen. Israel is still attempting the determine the attackers' affiliation.

The IDF also said today that troops have carried out several raids into Syria over the past few weeks, working to destroy weapons belonging to the former Syrian regime. The IDF also carried out airstrikes on two airbases in Syria today to destroy additional military equipment.

The United States must work with Israel and our other allies to ensure that Syria does not reemerge as a launching pad for terrorism.
