Folks, today’s Election Day in parts of Pennsylvania, where there is a special election for House District 35. It’s one of a handful of high-priority races on our docket this year.

Thanks to supporters like you, Democracy Defender David Gottfried won his March 11 election for Minnesota’s House District 40B. This was an important win, allowing Democrats to maintain a tie in that chamber.

It’s now all hands on deck for Dan Goughnour in Pennsylvania.

With polls closing in just hours and our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline less than a week away, we’re reaching out to our strongest supporters to ask you to rush a donation to help elect power Democracy Defenders to victory nationwide. [[link removed]]

Currently, Democrats have a majority in the Pennsylvania House by just one seat — losing this race would hand power back to Republicans. This district has been Democratic for years, but Republicans see an opportunity in a low-turnout race to slip the state House toward MAGA extremism. We’ve endorsed the pro-democracy candidate, Dan Goughnour, who has spent his life putting his community first. It’s going to take the full strength of this grassroots team to elect him.

We’ve also got our work cut out right now in Wisconsin. The April 1 supreme court election is shaping up to be one of the most expensive state judicial races in history — and groups connected to Elon Musk are pouring millions of dollars into deceptive ads.

The outcome of this race will have serious implications on crucial issues since the court could rule on cases involving fair maps, free elections, labor rights, reproductive freedom, and so much more. There are also critical elections coming up later this year in states like Michigan and Virginia. Our FEC fundraising deadline is less than a week away, and what we can raise will determine a lot about how hard we can fight in these key elections across the country.

So we’re asking every member of this grassroots team to step up if you can. Rush a contribution to the NDRC right now — let’s elect Democracy Defenders in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and across the country. [[link removed]]
