Friend, Growing up on a farm wasn’t easy.
It was hard, demanding labor that often required personal sacrifices for the family's success. But life on the farm taught me the importance of hard work and perseverance, and I could not have built the life I have today without these values instilled in me from a young age.
It has always been my dream to own and operate our family farm. My family has been farming the same ground in the Temperance Hall and Lancaster communities for 235 years, and I wasn’t going to let that end on my watch. Before I took over though, I needed to make sure I was fully equipped with the skills to set up our farm for success for years to come.
So, I worked hard to get a good education. I attended and graduated from Tennessee Tech University with an agriculture degree. Then, I went on to get two more degrees—a Master of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University and a Law Degree from Vanderbilt University.
I am proud to say that I have fulfilled my dream and so much more. I was able to be a voice for rural America and be elected to Tennessee’s 6th congressional district, where I have faithfully served for the past six years.
Now, my wife Chelsea and I are on the farm, raising a family of our own. We have been blessed with beautiful children and I will do everything I can to pass on a better America to them, just as my parents did for me.
THAT is the American Dream.
My time in Congress has allowed me to help President Trump advance his America First agenda, prioritizing the conservative values I grew up on. - SECURE our southern border and enforce the law
- CUT taxes and limit government spending and waste
- DEFEND our constitutional rights
Tennessee is my home. I owe everything to this great state and the conservative values instilled in me from a young age. Will you join me as I continue to fight for our Tennessee conservative values as Governor? Help me make sure that ANYONE in Tennessee can achieve their own American Dream—just like I did. God Bless, |
