In the wake of George Floyd's murder, our country is experiencing so much sorrow and pain -- yet even during this dark hour in our nation's history, activists and protesters across the country -- and across the world -- are standing together in solidarity to call for racial justice and to put an end to police brutality, racism, white supremacy, and anti-Blackness.
The path forward is clear: Congress must listen to the people who are hurting and bring forward real solutions to dismantle the racist systems and institutions that disproportionately rob Black and brown Americans of their lives and livelihoods.
That's why Pramila is supporting Ilhan and Ayanna's resolution condemning all acts of police brutality, racial profiling, and excessive use of force -- and calling for reforms and policies at every level of government. More than 90 members of Congress have signed on, and we're looking for grassroots activists like you to call on your representative to let them know that they must also act urgently by co-sponsoring this resolution.
Will you hold your representative accountable by writing a letter demanding they support this bold and urgent resolution, and push for a floor vote?

In a just and equitable country, George Floyd, Tony McDade, Breonna Taylor, and countless more Black and brown Americans who've died at the hands of police would still be alive. While we cannot bring them back, we can fight like hell to protect Black and brown lives by taking bold, urgent action.
