Our District 20 community is full of strong female leaders who have left their mark on South Florida.  
 
In honor of Women’s History Month, join me THIS SATURDAY to recognize the trailblazing women of District 20, and the men who have uplifted them, at my annual FL-20 EmpowHER Awards Ceremony. 
 
I am also excited to announce that we will be joined by three phenomenal panelists who have served as trailblazers for women everywhere:  
 
Dr. Traci Lynn  
Dr. Traci Lynn is an in-demand motivational speaker, author and entrepreneur, as well as a wife and mother. She started Traci Lynn Fashion Jewelry in Philadelphia in 1989 with $200 at age 25. Today, the company, now based in Fort Lauderdale, sells high-quality, stylish, affordable jewelry through a wholesale network and direct sales. 
 
Nicky Gelin  
Nicky Gelin is a Jamaican born living in South Florida CEO/Founder of The NSY Group, Media Executive, Editor-At-Large & SOUL talk-show host for MIA Magazine and Lifestyle Influencer. It's while working for major media corporations as an advertising Account Executive that she gained insight both behind and in front of the camera. 
 
Emmy Petit  
Emmy Petit is a trusted voice in all things fashion, beauty, and hair. Based in Miami, she has gained a loyal following of over 180,000 followers on social media where she shares her favorite beauty products.
