I have been pushing back against the radical Trump-Vance Agenda every step of the way, and today is no different.

Donald Trump has ordered the Secretary of Education Linda McMahon to close the Department of Education.

First, let me make it clear that President Trump has no authority to close the Department of Education. He is – once again – throwing our system of checks and balances out the window as he works to bypass Congress’ authority.

In addition to a Constitutional crisis, Trump and his billionaire buddies in his Cabinet are threatening to rip away millions of dollars in funding that support students here in Ohio. These are invaluable resources that support students with learning disabilities and ensure every single child in Ohio has access to a good education.

This is an “all hands on deck” moment, John. I’m fighting for the students and future of Ohio, and I’m asking you to please step up today and join me.
