Friend — Every day this administration exposes itself as a clown show.

Yesterday we learned that the Vice President, Secretary of Defense, and other top security personnel were coordinating military airstrikes via group chat.

How did we learn this? Because they accidentally included an outside reporter in the group chat.

This is clown stuff. 🤡

But unfortunately for our nation, this administration is both incompetent and dangerous.

In the two months since Trump took office, we have seen a steady erosion of our democracy.

Ignoring court orders. Illegally slashing the budget. Shuttering entire federal departments and agencies without Congress. Disappearing people without due process.

And now this recklessness in handling military intel — intel about their plans to enact more violence and destruction in the Middle East.

Hanane, it’s our job to show the American people the dangerous path we are on, and use every tool that we have at our disposal to stand up and fight back.

I know it sounds tough. How are we able to fight back when the GOP has all the power? The answer is through grassroots politics.

It’s going to take a sustained, organized, grassroots movement to defend our democracy and defeat the far-right. It won’t happen overnight, but if we build every day we will put ourselves in a position to take back the levers of power. That’s how the civil rights movement won, that’s how the women’s rights movement won, and it’s how progressives have made advances throughout our nation’s history.

So please: Can you make a contribution today and help us continue to do everything we can to organize against the Trump administration and their reckless actions? This will only work if everybody does their part.
