One of my best allies in Congress – Representative Brian Mast – needs our support today.
I’ve been lucky enough to count on Brian Mast since my first day in the House. He’s been with me through every battle with Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats’ radical agenda.
Brian fought bravely on the battlefield and suffered greatly from an IED explosion that nearly ended his life.
But that tragedy did not end his pledge to defend our amazing country. The people of Florida’s 18th Congressional District saw in Brian Mast a leader who would always fight to protect our American values.
Now those values are under the worst threat we have seen in generations.
Pelosi and the Democrats want Congress to stay home while they craft secret multi-trillion dollar spending bills. They even implemented “proxy voting” so members never have to return to Washington. No more debates. No more bi-partisanship. Just Pelosi and her inner circle writing legislation that will further their radical, far left agenda.
Brian Mast and I will not sit quietly while Pelosi makes her unconstitutional power grab. We believe Congress should be leading right now, solving problems individually and openly for our constituents and the American people to help lift our country out of this crisis.
