It happened. Trump signed an executive order aimed at abolishing the Department of Education.

Take one guess as to who was cheering him on in D.C. If you said Kim Reynolds, you’re correct.

Reynolds praised Trump for “returning education dollars” back to the states. Why? So she can continue pouring millions of taxpayer dollars into private school vouchers.

Many of our rural public schools will suffer without the Department of Education, and Kim Reynolds has made it clear that she is working against Iowa’s students. Iowans cannot trust Reynolds to prioritize public education.

The Iowa Democratic Party is connecting with voters across the state to share what Reynolds is doing and how her policies are dangerous for Iowa. Replacing her won’t happen overnight, which is why we’re starting now.
