How to answer this age-old question...

Should you use a flash hider or a muzzle brake on the end of your rifle? It's an age-old question we are here to answer.

Flash hiders are built specifically to reduce the visible flash of a gunshot. Whether you're shooting in low-light situations or simply want to keep your line of sight and eyes clear, a flash hider is for you.

Muzzle brakes, on the other hand, are built to reduce felt recoil. This can be useful when speed is your most important objective. Keep in mind though that if you're shooting a muzzle brake without a suppressor, it can redirect the sound of your shot, making it seem louder.

All of SilencerCo's muzzle devices are compatible with any of our ASR Mounts. So regardless of which option you choose, you'll be suppressor ready.
