Hi there,
My name is Tom Hoyer — I’m the father of Luke Hoyer, one of the 17 victims of the Parkland Massacre.

Before I start, I have a personal ask for you. There’s a less than a week until we reach the end of March and Stand with Parkland needs help hitting our $10,000 end-of-quarter goal. Will you help us ensure we have the resources to sustain and expand our life-saving programs? [[link removed]?]
Help us save more lives → [[link removed]?]
My son Luke was 15 years old when he was killed in his high school. And he was not the last.
No parent should have to say goodbye to their child in the morning, only to never see them again.
As a father, every time another tragedy unfolds, families like mine relive the worst day of our lives. The sirens. The waiting. The words that shatter your world.
And then — nothing.
No real action. No meaningful change. Just more children lost, more families broken, more empty seats at the dinner table.
I refuse to accept this as normal.
That’s why I’ve been working alongside the rest of Stand with Parkland’s families to do everything we can to make our nation’s schools safer. We do this by meeting with countless elected officials from both sides of the aisle to pass laws expanding access to mental health resources, enhancing school campus security, and ensuring responsible firearm ownership.
But traveling to be in the room with decision-makers, to legislative hearings, and keeping up the pressure requires financial support. With that in mind, I’m asking for your help today: Can you chip in any amount to help us make all of America's schools safer? [[link removed]?]
Power our work → [[link removed]?]
We take this approach because, while it’s challenging, it’s the only way to create real, lasting change. Luke’s death — and the deaths of so many others — is not normal. It is not something we have to accept.
Thank you again,
Tom Hoyer (Luke’s Dad)
