Folks, Last week, President Trump took yet another step to dismantle the Department of Education:
This is a major attack on a federal agency that serves students and teachers across the country. But unfortunately, this callous move comes as no surprise. This attack was laid out in Project 2025, the conservative blueprint designed to overhaul our entire democracy. The very first sentence in the chapter on education reads: “Shut it down. Eliminate the Department of Education.” And recently, Republicans from our target regions outright admitted that the Department of Education is a huge target in their cuts to federal funding.
