In a matter of three months, Republicans gutted Medicare and Medicare, terminated hundreds of thousands of federal employees, illegally detained and deported immigrants, and wasted no time enacting Trump’s Project 2025 agenda.
And instead of fighting back against Trump to deliver on lower costs, Republicans are holing up in DC so they don’t have to answer to their constituents.
Friend, while Republicans hide from their deeply unpopular agenda, I’m leading Congress’s strongest anti-Trump xxxxxx: The Congressional Black Caucus. Every day, we’re working with legal experts to counter MAGA’s extreme and unconstitutional agenda, but with a target on our backs, we need to be ready for whatever they throw our way.
From working to enshrine key diversity policies and introducing legislation that provides a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers, I’m fighting from all angles to get ahead of the Trump administration and enact guardrails that protect Americans from his reckless policies.
