Yesterday, a story broke in The Atlantic about how its editor-in-chief had been apparently accidentally added to a Signal group chat containing Pete Hegseth, JD Vance, Tulsi Gabbard, Mike Waltz, and other members of Trump’s national security team.

Unaware that a journalist had been added to the chat, the group discussed America’s war plans for the bombing campaign against Houthi terrorists in Yemen. This is yet another example of members of the Trump administration being either too careless or too stupid to do their jobs without tripping over themselves.

If Mike Waltz can accidentally add a journalist too a highly classified group chat, it’s amazing he can walk and chew gum without falling over himself. These people are too unserious to be in charge of such important decisions.

Ironically, Mike Watlz’s old House seat is up for a special election in exactly one week’s time. The election on April 1st will be our first indication as to whether or not Democrats will have a chance to flip the House THIS YEAR and an early indicator of anti-Trump energy that we can bring to bear for 2026.
