Criticizing Governor Walz’s liberal policies is easy (and yes, even a little satisfying), but it's not enough. To truly turn Minnesota around, those of us who want to see change in Minnesota need to offer a clear, bold vision—and I've laid one out.
In my latest Duluth News Tribune column, I outline specific, practical steps for Minnesota’s renewal:
Real tax relief: Eliminating the first tax bracket, providing every Minnesotan an immediate $2,500 tax cut.
Economic growth: Simplifying and streamlining regulations to attract investments, boost job creation, and revive our stagnant economy.
Public safety: Supporting our law enforcement and restoring adequate police funding by tying state aid directly to ensuring communities maintain properly staffed police departments.
Stopping the Madness: Ending the crazy things like free college for illegal immigrants, the indifference to massive fraud, and the countless other bizarre policies our government has embraced.
The Book of Proverbs tells us, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Indeed. After years of government from the hard left, Minnesota needs a new vision in 2026 and beyond. We need to focus on the policies necessary to deliver renewal, reform, and sanity to a state desperately in need of them.
