Hi John,

Pro-life champions across the country have celebrated some big events so far this year.

In January, thousands of people gathered at the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. Seeing some of the news coverage reminded me that there’s still a lot of work to do to save babies from abortion, but there’s also a lot of momentum in our movement right now. So, we must keep working together!

And the Sanctity of Human Life Sunday was another reminder for me of just how precious the gift of life is. My passion was reignited to be the hands and feet of Jesus for moms in need.

Now as we've entered Lent, we start a season of waiting and preparing to celebrate the resurrection of our risen savior, Jesus Christ, on Easter.

I’m also reminded of all the pregnant moms out there right now, waiting and preparing to welcome their little ones in just a short time. Even so, there are so many moms who believe the lie that they can’t make it, that they can’t choose life for their baby. To them, it feels like an abortion is necessary.

But our work to reach the next mom seeking an abortion extends far beyond these big events – it’s a daily commitment to the small things that will help transform our culture into one that makes abortion unthinkable and unnecessary!

As you know, being pro-life isn’t just about grand gestures, huge policy wins, or big events. It’s about small, meaningful acts of compassion in our everyday lives. It’s about seeing the moms seeking an abortion not as a statistic, but as a precious child created by God who needs support and hope to be able to choose life for their baby. It’s recognizing that every woman facing an unexpected pregnancy deserves to feel empowered and cared for, not alone and afraid.

So, John, please don’t forget that you can make a lifesaving difference right where you are today. Will you join me in praying for mothers in difficult circumstances that are actively seeking abortions? Or maybe you can offer a listening ear to a mom facing an unexpected pregnancy at your church? Or share some encouraging words and scriptures with a post-abortive mom in your life.

When we treat every person – born and preborn – with dignity and respect, these simple acts of kindness and sharing Christ’s love can transform our culture from one that celebrates death to one that truly values life.

I’m standing with you today, and so is everyone else here at Human Coalition, as we aim to make that more and more of a reality in our country.

The new year is already off to a GREAT start for this growing movement to end abortion. Together, let's continue to work to make abortion more and more unthinkable and unnecessary each day, until it ends for good!

I hope you’re encouraged, because we know scripture is true: “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9

God bless you,

Jeff Bradford,

President
