Last week, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin announced plans to repeal dozens of our most successful and vital public health and climate protections.

This move is dangerous and a direct threat to people and the planet.  

People deserve a government that will protect them from climate pollution, and this plan is not it. It benefits the narrow interests of corporate polluters and puts people and the planet last.

We need to make sure Zeldin knows loud and clear we oppose his attack on crucial health and safety protections.  

Send a message to EPA Administrator Zeldin letting him know you oppose his reckless attacks on clean air, clean water and climate safeguards.

The EPA’s mission is to protect human health and the environment. But Zeldin’s plan abandons that mission. It would not only drive more pollution into the hearts and lungs of people across the country, but it would also result in more exposure to toxics, more cancers, and more dangers for pregnant women and their children. In summary, it creates more environmental and health chaos.

Zeldin is attacking dozens of health and safety standards that include:
 

Climate pollution limits on fossil fuel power plants;

Limits on toxic pollution from coal plants;

EPA’s foundational, science-based finding that climate pollution is harmful;

Limits on the tailpipe pollution from new cars and new trucks; and

Cost-effective limits on harmful methane pollution from the oil and gas sector.

Our country, the people and the environment deserve better. Send a message to Administrator Zeldin now opposing his attacks on clean air and climate safety. 

Here is one thing Zeldin and the Trump administration are forgetting: most Americans support climate solutions.

And since Zeldin will need to go through the EPA regulatory process to carry out his reckless rollbacks, we will be there every step of the way to vigorously oppose his plan and do everything we can to protect our air, water, and health. And I know you, so many other EDF supporters, and people across the country will be raising your voices with us.
