* *Audience:* Lead agencies, assessors, case managers, care coordinators and Consumer Support Grant (CSG) administrators
* *Effective date:* Immediately
* *Summary:* DHS created instructions that lead agencies must follow to avoid gaps in services for people who need additional time to complete the transition from personal care assistance (PCA)/CSG to Community First Services and Supports (CFSS).

 

Feedback about provider reimbursement for worker overtime [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* People who receive personal care services, including PCA, CFSS and waiver services
* *Survey opens:* March 25, 2025
* *Survey deadline:* April 4, 2025
* *Summary:* DHS requests feedback from people who receive services. We want to know about the possible impact on people who receive services if DHS allowed provider agencies to receive reimbursement for worker wages for overtime hours.

* *Summary:* This announcement provides a summary of updates DHS made to the CBSM in February 2025.

Applications open for Waiver Reimagine Advisory Committee [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* People who receive disability waiver services and their family members, disability and behavioral health advocates, lead agency representatives, waiver service providers and other interested parties
* *Application deadline:* April 8, 2025
* *Summary:* DHS is accepting applications to fill seven seats on the Waiver Reimagine Advisory Committee.

 

Updated: Employment services authorization guidance [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* Counties and tribal nations that administer disability waiver funds, employment and day service providers and other interested parties
* *Summary:* DHS updated the previous eList announcement to explain that the timeline for closing Vocational Rehabilitation Services categories has changed. We will provide more information as it becomes available.

* *Summary:* Join us for the fourth annual Autism Symposium and Resource Fair, a hybrid event dedicated to supporting people with autism, their families and professionals through education, connection and empowerment. This year's event has a special emphasis on mental health and well-being, highlighting the importance of emotional resilience, self-care and access to supportive services.

* *Summary:* DHS offers the Culture of Safety Orientation twice a year. This webinar covers human factors and safety science principles necessary to analyze critical incidents and inform decision-making.

 

Webinar announcement: 245D virtual roundtable with Licensing and Disability Services: Supporting people to have meaningful outcomes [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* Lead agency staff, case managers, day service providers, employment support service providers and basic, intensive, in-home and residential support service providers
* *Event date:* April 30, 2025
* *Summary:* The DHS Licensing and Disability Services divisions will host a virtual roundtable about supporting people to have meaningful outcomes on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

 

Webinar announcement: Culture of Safety three-day advanced training [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* 245D-licensed providers and lead agencies, particularly people directly involved in agency oversight and leadership, incident data and response, quality assurance, licensure and risk management compliance
* *Event dates:* May 5-7, 2025
* *Summary:* The Culture of Safety three-day advanced online training covers how to use safety science principles to respond to critical incidents, engage employees in safety and improvement efforts and analyze systemic factors related to unintended outcomes.
