June marks the beginning of Pride Month -- a celebration of our LGBTQ community and just how far we’ve come in our fight for equality, inclusivity, and justice. 
 
As the Vice Chair of the LGBT Equality Caucus and member of the Transgender Equality Taskforce, and as an ally, I am committed to working to achieve full equality for LGBTQ Americans today and every day. 
 
Pride is also a precious reminder of the power of protest and the power of people to demand change and justice -- and that no one should have to take on this fight alone. 
 
We still have work to do, and that work must be done, together.
