The Coalition of Union Labor Women (CLUW) is working to establish it's chapter in Arizona, we invite you to join their upcoming membership meetings! This chapter serves the Greater Arizona County region, including Maricopa, Pinal, Yavapai, Gila, Pima, and Yuma counties.
Join them for a virtual workshop facilitated by Kate Shaughnessy, Leadership and Organizational Development Coordinator at the National AFL-CIO.
Kate brings over 30 years of experience as a union organizer, staff representative, and labor educator. She lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota, with her two dogs and supports her young adult children in navigating today's challenging economy.
Workshop: Leadership and Labor History: Connecting the Past to the Present as Women Workers
This workshop will provide an interactive examination and discussion of women leaders in history. We will explore our own views of leadership and draw inspiration from the women who paved the way. Come prepared to engage and deepen our understanding of women's labor history and how it applies to today's world.
