*RIDE Celebration of Learning to Highlight Successes of Governor’s Education Initiative*

"Registration now open for event that will showcase “Innovation, Progress and Possibilities for Wyoming Public Schools”"

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – "Wyoming’s Future of Learning" will host a Statewide Celebration of Learning on May 9th at Central Wyoming College in Riverton, marking the second year of the RIDE Student-Centered Pilots.  The free, public event will bring together educators, students,  district leaders, business and industry partners, and community members to highlight how Wyoming schools are transforming education through personalized, student centered learning.  (register here [ [link removed] ])

Participants will showcase innovative programs, successes, and future plans, providing firsthand insights into how Wyoming' s public education system is evolving to engage students in meaningful, future ready learning experiences.

Governor Gordon has been traveling to school districts around the state over the past year to see firsthand how the RIDE pilots have been implemented, and its impacts to student learning. In school districts ranging from Cheyenne to Kemmerer, Cody and Meeteetse, districts are developing customized approaches to learning, incorporating the unique needs and aspirations of communities.

Originally launched with nine districts, the initiative has now expanded to 20 districts statewide, demonstrating growing momentum and commitment to student-centered education.

“This celebration is an opportunity for Wyoming to come together, celebrate progress, and continue shaping the future for learning across the state,” Governor Gordon said. “I invite anyone interested in the future of our public schools to attend and be inspired, as I have been during my classroom visits.”

The success of "Wyoming’s Future of Learning" stands as a testament to collaborative efforts between Governor Mark Gordon, Superintendent of Public Instruction Megan Degenfelder, the Wyoming Department of Education, the State Board of Education, the University of Wyoming College of Education, the Wyoming Community College Commission and the Wyoming Association of School Administrators.
