Folks, today the news broke that the Trump administration accidentally TEXTED top secret war plans to a reporter.
I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s true. Pete Hegseth, the secretary of defense, texted the editor-in-chief of the Atlantic precise information about weapons, packages, targets, and timing.
This shouldn’t have happened. It’s a reckless breach of security protocols and is a clear threat to U.S. national security.
And make no mistake: our allies are reading this war-plan-disclosure story too, and it’s making it less and less likely that they’ll want to share sensitive intel with us.
This administration is playing fast and loose with our nation’s most classified information, and it makes all Americans less safe.
I’m committed to building a safer, more secure country for Virginians and all Americans. If you’re with me, chip in anything you can to tell the Trump administration that we won’t stand for their blatant irresponsibility >> [link removed]
The fight continues,
