Fifteen years ago, we made history. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) became law, protecting millions of Americans from being denied coverage for preexisting conditions, capping out-of-pocket costs, and expanding access to health care.
Republicans have been trying to dismantle it ever since. During Trump’s first term, they tried to repeal the ACA dozens of times. And now, with a GOP-controlled House, Senate, and Trump back in the White House, we know they won’t stop.
