John, this is good news.
After facing tough questions during town halls in their districts, GOP representatives were quick to set up a meeting with President Trump to deliver feedback.
Finally, they're listening to your frustrations with this administration’s reckless and dangerous actions.
There's a lot at stake right now, and I know it's easy to feel demoralized with the headlines we're seeing every day. But I am full of hope – especially when we stand together to take action and make our voices heard.
As we fight to save Medicaid, protect our rights, and defend our democracy, I promise to hold this administration accountable and deliver on issues that matter most to you. With the GOP in total control of the House, the Senate, and the White House, I'm counting on you now more than ever. Together we can recruit men and women who will help put Democrats in charge of the House so we can stop the worst actions of President Trump.
Please, will you chip in $5, or whatever you can spare, now to help me stop the GOP and continue fighting for hardworking Pennsylvanians in Chester and Berks Counties?

Subject: 5 things you can do today to stop the madness
Hi John, it's Chrissy.
Every day, sometimes every few hours, there's a new headline that makes me angry and long for a President Kamala Harris. If you’re like me, you’re a little scared, a lot anxious, and trying to do everything you can to stop the reckless and dangerous actions of President Trump, Elon Musk, and those around them.
If you’re not sure where to start, that’s okay. We can help. What can you do?
* Call or email Sen. Dave McCormick ([link removed]). Call or email Sen. John Fetterman ([link removed]). Call volume matters, even if you’re just leaving a message, because elected officials know that phones don’t ring off the hook when people are happy. If you can’t get through in D.C., call one of the Pennsylvania regional offices. Public outcry forced President Trump to walk back the federal funding freeze. Let’s keep it up.
* Do you have friends who live in states or Congressional districts represented by Republicans? Ask them to call their senators and their U.S. representative, too. Republicans control both the House and the Senate in Washington and could stop President Trump if they wanted to. In the House, we just need three to end their silence. Just three.
* Over 70 lawsuits have been filed (so far) challenging the executive orders. If you can, please support one of the organizations fighting for all of us. There are many, but I’d start with the ACLU ([link removed]), Democracy Forward ([link removed]), and Lambda Legal ([link removed]).
* Get involved locally. Join or support a community of people working for change. There are many. Here are a handful in Chester County: Indivisible Chester County ([link removed]), the Way Forward ([link removed]), Black Women of Chester County in Action ([link removed]), Legal Aid SEPA ([link removed]), the NAACP of West Chester ([link removed]), and the NAACP of Coatesville ([link removed]). Here are a handful in Berks County: Bring the Change ([link removed]), Centro Hispano ([link removed]), LGBT Center of Greater Reading ([link removed]), Make the Road ([link removed]), and the NAACP of Reading ([link removed]).
* Be good to yourself. Hug your friends and family. Find joy. This is a marathon, and we need all of us in the race. For our kids. For each other. For the future of our country.
