Dear friend, I had a busy past few months in Milwaukee and D.C. From supporting our veterans to lifting up Wisconsin farmers, I want to make sure you all know that I am engaged in the fight for our veterans, democracy, and essential benefits such as SNAP. During this time, I have also met with my constituents to discuss a variety of issues, hosted Congressional Cafes, joined amazing community events, and saw real-life investments taking shape in Milwaukee.
We had a great turnout this past Saturday at our Congressional Cafe in Glendale, around 300 of you joined us! Thank you for staying engaged; there will be more conversations in the future.

The Postal Service serves *all* communities and delivers essential mail such as prescription medications. Attempts to privatize it could threaten access in underserved communities, including in rural areas. I joined letter carriers in Milwaukee to push back against calls to privatize the USPS.

I toured GE Healthcare's new plant, which will support medical equipment manufacturing in West Milwaukee. I got to see where workers will build equipment such as CT and PET scanners and how this new investment will support local jobs.

I enjoyed being home in Milwaukee for Martin Luther King Jr Day. I am so proud to be a city that holds one of the longest-running MLK celebrations in the country and join my constituents in celebrating his legacy.
At a rally in Milwaukee, I proudly joined my constituents in gathering to show that we support Ukrainians' fight for their sovereignty. It is clear that the President's shameful remarks doesn't speak for all Americans.
I joined a roundtable with local restaurant owners and farmers and got the chance to speak with Sandy and Anna about the impact tariffs are already having on farmers and how SNAP produce purchases can help support our local farmers. SNAP is a benefit for our families, local economies, and our farmers.
I met with the owner of Hatco, which employs nearly 100 people in Milwaukee, to discuss bipartisan legislation regarding employee retirement plans.
I had a wonderful time at Delta Sigma Theta Founders Day, where I got to introduce and welcome superstar Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett to Milwaukee! I loved being an honorary Delta for the day.
I was honored to be recognized by the Wisconsin Child Support Enforcement Association with an award for my work advancing legislation to strengthen child support enforcement. I was so proud to work on this bipartisan legislation and thank Governor Evers for his strong advocacy.
I stood with veterans and advocates at Zablocki to stand up for the VA and the workers fired by DOGE, including three veterans in Milwaukee. The VA is serving more veterans than ever, but this Administration wants to purge 83,000 workers and we were there to oppose any further cuts and protect the VA.
This Administration is causing great uncertainty and chaos, and it's impacting the organizations that serve in our communities. That's why I hosted a virtual town hall where I talked with leaders of community-based organizations and provided them with congressional and federal updates. I will always work to be a resource and a source of reliable information to our community, especially now.

I met some very talented young chefs at Neu-Life Farmwork Feast! They presented their cooking from their harvest, and I was so impressed! This organization has a wonderful mission and is lifting up young people in our community.
My constituents depend on programs like Meals on Wheels, WIC, and housing assistance programs. In January, all of that was thrown into chaos and uncertainty after Trump illegally froze federal funds. I held a press conference with Mayor Johnson to speak on how this hurts WI-04 and communities across the country. I will keep fighting to protect these services from any future power grabs.
