The fossil fuel industry is accelerating its attacks on climate action, acting through its bought and paid for politicians. Now, they're trying to remove the regulations that prevent them from polluting our air and water and worsening the climate crisis. Why? Because they’re desperate. It may not seem like it now, but they’re holding a losing hand. Renewable energies like wind and solar are now cheaper than fossil fuels, and have been for a few years now.

This terrifies them. You might wonder why they don’t simply transition away from fossil fuels towards renewables. Well, the answer is simple: the profits aren’t there for them. They love the fossil fuel economy, where energy sources are something you must seek out, extract, and own - because that’s how they profit.

You don’t have to search, drill, or dig for wind and sunlight. Nobody can own the sun or wind.

This terrifies them. We’re on the cusp of an energy revolution, a world where power is publicly and locally owned, cleanly generated, and accessible to all. They want to keep us trapped in their system of manufactured scarcity, where they control the supply, and we keep paying the price.

We won’t let them.

They’re doubling down on right-wing power grabs because they hope we’ll give up in the face of their onslaught. But their only hope is if we give up.
